When Jack Nicholason travels to Madrid he never imagined
that he would fall in love with a young woman and that he would be immersed in
a mysterious murder investigation.
Jack Nicholason is a successful writer from New York City who goes to Spain on vacation to prepare his next novel. On his first night in Madrid he meets Maria, a wealthy and beautiful girl, with whom he falls in deeply in love. They arrange to meet in the same place over the next few days. However, she does not show up because her father dies in what was supposedly an accident.
Jack decides to investigate on his own, because he actually thinks that it was a murder. The inquiries lead him to the Templars, to Soria then to Santander and to other people in Marbella. He suspects everyone, the Templars, the Italian mafia, the Russian mafia, people who had done business with the victim, lovers…Then he returns to New York and with Martin´s help (a lieutenant of the Beverly Hills Police Department) he discovers the murderer in Las Vegas and the motives behind the mysterious murder.
